I understand what you're trying to say, i just think you don't understand this "superiority" complex that Russians exhibit. It's not just propaganda, it's not just Putin. My parents live in Lithuania, they agree with Russian propaganda, not because they're scared ( i mean they live in Europe), but because they want it to be true: they want to be a part of this "superior" Russian world as an antipode to the rotting West. Can you imagine what Russians believe then? The nation as a whole never condemned Stalin's atrocious crimes, in recent years there was even a revival of Stalin's cult among both young and old Russians. Today pupils at a school recorded the teacher's anti-war speech and she might go to jail now. This teacher is in minority, most of them support the war and indoctrinate children to support it too. Majority, unfortunately, believes this war has to be fought. It's not like I want to prove something, i just don't want people in the west to underestimate the huge moral crisis that the nation is facing, not just the government, because if we don't, we might miss the chance to give an appropriate response.
