I used to live in Lancaster, UK when I was a student, and I remember how one year slugs would occupy our kitchen every night and my neighbours felt too gross to take them out so I had to do it. I earned the title of "slug king"! Now I wonder — did they maybe just clean our kitchen from bacterial residue???
