Lol. Do you know that those squares of land have people living on them? My boyfriend’s parents live there. Eights monnths ago they lived in Ukraine. Now, they’re under occupation by a country they deeply despise. They’re Ukrainianian. They can’t leave. They’re stuck. They never wanted to live in Russia. Your solution is to sacrifice their needs because you want to feel safe, satisfy Putin’s unsatisfiable hunger. Good luck with that. Crimea in 2014. Half of Ukraine today. The whole of Ukraine tomorrow. Then Baltic States. The something else. All because you don’t want to go to war with Russia. It’s nice you have such privilege. You don’t such privilege when you’re being invaded. You either surrender or fight back.

And it’s not Zelensky who doesn’t want to give up Crimea, it’s every Ukrainian who doesn’t want that.
