Russian attacks on Kyiv usually come in waves so there can be months of relative peace in between. Even when they happen, everyone so used to we don't bother going to shelters, especially since we know they are likely to target energy infrastructure rather than anything else. It can still be very draining because you are never sure.

I think people outside of Ukraine don't quite realize how normal Kyiv looks and feels most of the days
