A pit stop inside a raging volcano

It’s very very overwhelming times, right?

I’ve been overwhelmed for a while and my processor just got broken.

Maybe this young growing spring is also heating me up from the inside. It encourages me to change and update. It also makes me very aware of the things I’m leaving behind.

Spring — in general — makes me very aware of all my feelings and immediate experiences: both pretty and ugly.

Spring is exciting as much as spring is terrifying.

I’m sitting on a bench in one of the peaceful corners of central Kyiv — Park Landscape Alley. St. Andrew’s Church stands in front and looks down at me. It’s painted in very appropriate colours for spring. It’s far far from fifty shades of green, but still quite a few.

There aren’t many people here — mostly men walking alone.

Did they come here with a similar call — to untangle the clew of their overwhelmingness?

Maybe they did, maybe they didn’t.

My friend Kristina would stick with the latter — she says men are very bad at processing their feelings, especially on their own. I don’t think I’m bad at that. I think I just have too many feelings to process.
