The world is changing so fast, indeed, and I think there’s something about how we approach such changes that can create this great divide we feel today. Some people run forward without looking back at what others are doing, some freeze to see what happens next and do nothing, stay silent, others go out and fight for what they think is right. But every approach can come with a good degree of ignorance to the struggles of others. And digital realities really amplify that - we can pick our social bubble, engineer it to perfection and keep anyone who disagrees out, blow other bubbles away without accountability because that’s what digital world enable us to do. It makes me annoyed seeing what’s happening and feeling like it will all blow up regardless of that knowledge. But maybe today is already the worst it can get and tomorrow will be better. It can go so many ways. Who would have thought Trump would today advocate for America to take Greenland because it’s in their economic interest? Another problematic rhetoric into the overflowing bucket of problems.
