The new Zelda game brought us joy
You should let yourself buy that thing that brings you joy even if it seems impractical, improper and unfit for the current time.
Part I — how we’re having fun playing Zelda
We’ve been playing the new Zelda game for two weeks.
By that, I mean that every evening my boyfriend and I sit on a mattress (which lies on the floor), put Nintendo Switch in a dock, connect it to a big screen and spend a few hours playing the game.
We run through the green fields of Hyrule and smash gangs of frenzied bokoblins.
We jump, fly and paraglide between sky islands gathering golden apples and skyshrooms.
We fall into corrupted chasms and cautiously explore the dark depths while we collect poe poe poe poe poe poe poe.
We build mad-looking vehicles, we fuse swords with rocks and we stick things together to complete shrines, quests and our degree in architecture.
By that, I mean we have SO MUCH FUN.
